Until recently, it was a sign of political correctness not even to consider the possibility of a euro collapse.  Investment experts at Deutsche Bank — Germany’s largest bank — now feel that a collapse of the common currency is “a very likely scenario.” Germany’s second-largest bank — Commerzbank — has also flagged fears of a Eurozone collapse whilst bracing for a worsening of the euro-crisis.  “The greatest downside risk remains an uncertainty shock from an escalation of the sovereign debt crisis, ie, the collapse of the monetary union,” Commerzbank states in its latest quarterly report released this week, adding that it thought the risk was higher now than in autumn last year.

So here we are, on the historic day of the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

As expected, and as we all, deep down ’knew’ (and had been told) would be the case, it has been a Light-filled celebration of humanity, on every level. Magic!

This is the true evidence of what some people call the Olympic Spirit. But, in reality, this is actually the ‘human’ spirit. Or what I prefer to call, our ‘combined seven-billion soul group’ spirit.

Surrender… what a word!  Just the thought of it can evoke feelings of giving up, giving in, not fighting for what you (fill in the blank.)  But yet, when you feel with the energy of surrender, oh my god it feels freeing.  Energy flows within the act of surrendering, even if the mind wants to state negatives with it.

Now feel with the opposite of surrendering: fighting.  All I can see is a ball of tangled up energy.  The energy cannot flow because it is a tangled of gnarled knot.  So if we are in fight mode, how can we ever really and fully achieve what we are fighting for?

Chancellor Angela Merkel wants Europe to move toward an ever closer union in a bid to solve the euro crisis. But she is already pushing at the limits of what is possible under the constitution. The debate about holding a referendum on transferring power to Brussels is gathering momentum in Germany.

A bottle of liquor and a half-empty glass stand on the table next to Angela Merkel, who is studying a confidential document with a sullen expression. “How to Break Up the Euro,” is the title.
