Uploaded on 31 October 2012 by paradoxman316 Yes, I know it’s Halloween — lot’s of seeming scary stuff I could talk about today — however, I want to focus again on the heart, not in the physical sense, but rather in the emotional sense. It will be about my personal reflections on intimate relationships in which sexuality is shared. For me, that aspect of my human-spiritual being remains limited by the couple concept — a couple being two people. As I’ve said before, this is one subject where I feel uncertain and often times incomplete. I sometimes wonder if I even want the kind of relationship I’ve always dreamed about, since I recognize the difficulties involved, not least of which are the wounds so many of us have experienced in this matter. Let’s explore matters of the heart a bit today.

Uploaded by paradoxman316 on 30 October 2012 Yesterday, I received a gift in the mail from my friend, Kelly, who lives in southern Alberta, Canada. It’s a hand-made, beaded necklace with a heart. How appropriate! It was on this very date in 2002 that I went into the operating room and had my chest cut open. Dr. Malias and Dr. Green performed their first ever Ross Procedure, an open-heart, valve replacement surgery. The cut out both main valves, the aortic and pulmonary. My aortic valve was hardening; so they replaced it with my own pulmonary valve. Then they sewed a human donor valve in the pulmonary position. This was a little over six months after I had died the previous April. I will talk about this today, the 10th anniversary of my heart surgery.

Good Morning to all. I just wanted to check in quickly to say all is well. The wind gusts shook the house violently last night and the rain poured down but everything is still in one piece. I will not be posting today. Not only am I brain-dead at this point, but I am trying hard to quell the anger within over what has been done again to innocent people. The hype continues on TV and it frankly makes me want to scream. So I will stay silent today before I get myself in trouble. It is getting more and more difficult to be awake and see so many still asleep and accepting all they are being told. Nothing is as it seems. So I send prayers out to all those who lost family and homes and I pray all these lies come to an end very soon. Hold the light!   VK
