We all have a variety of ways that we guard and protect ourselves from getting hurt. The fortress built around the heart which protects us from the slightest possible pain, is also what’s blocking the softest sweetest most gentle healing energy from finding its way in. When our inner fortress remains too rigid and strong, it can push away those who are trying to give us love. When this occurs these walls no longer serve our highest good and its vital that we dismantle them. It’s only through dissolving these wounded walls that we can truly relax, lighten up and become receptive again to let in love.

Along your journey through life, you’ve probably experienced personal success and accomplishment from intense amounts of efforting. Most of us contain this deeply conditioned belief system inside that says, “In order to reach my goals in life, it will require a lot of hard work and persistence”. This belief that we achieve our desires only through intense effort is an oldie and a goodie which contains a solid work ethic. Yet, when it comes to mastering your life I find that working hard is completely over-rated, and is mostly filled with dogmatic beliefs derived from some archaic limited minded consciousness.

Life is a cosmic mystery.  We are constantly thrown from one experience to the next.  One moment we are feeling high, then low, happy then sad, clear then confused.  The polarities that we experience create a divine challenge which is meant to make us dig deeper inside for the real answer.  The real answers in life are those that transcend all questions and bring you directly home to the heart and soul of your very being.  This open minded enlightened approach to life is what I refer to as the discovery of the “third side of the coin”.
