Egypt President Morsi Warns Of Army Ultimatum ‘Confusion’ – 2 July 2013

Noisy celebrations erupted in Cairo as the army delivered its ultimatum

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi says he was not consulted by the army before it set a 48-hour ultimatum to resolve the country’s deadly crisis.

Mr Morsi said a part of the statement “may cause confusion in the complex national scene”. He vowed to stick to his “national reconciliation” plan.

The army has warned it will intervene if the government and its opponents fail to heed “the will of the people”.

However, it denies that the ultimatum amounts to a coup.

Meanwhile, Egypt’s state news agency Mena reported early on Tuesday that Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr had submitted his resignation.

If accepted, he would join at least five other ministers who have already reportedly resigned over the political crisis.

On Sunday, millions rallied nationwide, urging the president to step down.

Ruth Ryden – Ruth & The Masters Of Light – July 2013 – 2 July 2013

ruth-rydenMasters, what do you see for this old world this coming month as storm systems just seem to keep coming?

“First of all, the world is not coming to an end! The doom-sayers will be busy with alarming predictions as storms continue to rage across continents and oceans for at least another year. Your planet is undergoing changes precipitated by the emergence of higher frequencies in the universe that will also be observed even by the Mars explorations on that planet. Continue reading

Visionkeeper – Comfort Zones – 2 July 2013

Music to read by below:

This issue of comfort zones I am finding very challenging to work on right now. As we settle into life we tend to settle into routine as well and often those routines begin to tighten up and close in without our even realizing it. Our little worlds begin to close off and become smaller. I suddenly began to realize this when friends would call up to invite me to a party and I would find reasons not to go. My comfort zone had become home and all the millions of little projects I tend to get involved in. Leaving my space and facing a room full of people, many times most of them I didn’t know, became more daunting than I wanted to deal with. I didn’t think much of it until I realized I was doing that a lot and my world began to shrink further. How could I lose my social skills so quickly and without noticing? Now I must begin to undo the damage I have done. While it served a great purpose for me during my times of going within and working on myself, now it was becoming a hindrance. Time to relearn social skills and get back out so I can grow and blossom and not just ‘be’ in my small world. Continue reading

DerSpiegel – Tough Talks In Athens : Greece Expects A Second Debt Hair Cut – 2 July 2013

Greece is expecting a second debt haircut from its European creditors following the German election, the country’s economy minister said on Tuesday. First, though, Athens must prove that it has done enough to receive the next tranche of badly needed bailout money.

With German elections just three months away, Berlin is eager to avoid any talk about yet another debt haircut for ailing Greece. Indeed, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble ruled out such a possibility just last week. It is clear, he said, “that we aren’t going to undertake such a debt reduction.”

This week, though, with Athens’ international creditors once again in town to check up on the country’s reform progress prior to the release of the next €8.1 billion tranche of aid money, Greek Economy Minister Kostis Hatzidakis say he believes that such a debt haircut is coming.
