Here we are, we have broken ground into the new.  Fully!!  But it sure isn’t anything like I had expected, even tho I know, rule number one is do not expect anything.  I can’t help it!!  A lot of times, I am so pleasantly surprised in my days.  Like when we have huge power days, like this particular equinox or the harvest moon that merged its energies with the equinox, truly, I didn’t expect to be able to see on those days (from past experience) yet, clarity was crisp and constant.  Then we have the day 8 of the equinox, the day after the field has been saying 3 days coming, three days settling in took us to the 25th, so why the heck was it that when I woke up on the 26th, full of energy and perky joy was I blind as a bat all day??  I really felt like spirit put a blind fold around my antenna’s and said, nope, not today and do you think they would afford us a reason why.  Oh hell no!!  Instead it was a reschedule binge kind of day.  Blah!

Last week Peruvian journalist and politician Güido Lombardi directed his audience to video shot from a wingcam aboard the Carnegie Airborne Observatory (CAO), an airplane used by researchers to conduct advanced monitoring and analysis of Peru’s forests. The video quickly received more than 60,000 views on Youtube.

A federal judge ordered the government to unseal more documents concerning the NSA spying programs by December 20, 2013. The judge issued the ruling in EFF’s lawsuit, Jewel v. NSA, which began in 2008 over the NSA spying program initiated by the Bush Administration, which continues to this day.

In light of the declassifications inspired by the June leaks, Judge Jeffrey White ordered the government to unseal any declassified material, like exhibits, declarations, and other ex parte submissions that the government had previously submitted to the court under seal.

As consumers continue to demand Mandatory GMO Labeling laws at the state level, Monsatan and other biotech giants are trying to sneak in something called “The King Amendment,” which would eliminate states’ rights to mandate GMO labeling, thereby nullifying any anti-GMO laws passed at the state level. Not only does this outrageous (yet somehow not surprising) amendment violate the will and rights of consumers across the U.S., but it would violate state sovereignty as well. As usual, the Farm Bill attempts to derail and defund natural, organic farmers as well as defraud health and freedom oriented consumers in favor of biotech giants that few people really want around anymore. I guess you don’t get voted the world’s most evil corporation without trying to earn that badge of corruption and abomination.

Still in disaster relief mode from a massive 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit its southeastern region on Tuesday, another large quake on Saturday, this one reported as between 6.8 and 7.2, has hit the same area.

According to the Associated Press:

A major earthquake rocked Pakistan’s southwest Saturday, sending people running into the street in panic just days after another quake in the same region killed 359 people, officials said.
