John Ward – Not Exactly The Entirely Accurate News Today – 9 October 2013

JohnWRepublican Senator Richard Burr from North Carolina, a reliable friend of business on Capitol Hill, told the media this afternoon that if Japan was vapourised by further nuclear accidents at Fukushima, it wouldn’t necessarily be “the catastrophe that the usual doom merchants are predicting”. He asked Americans to remember that the Japanese were on the other side during World War II and “nobody in Asia likes them anyway”.

“I don’t think Japan ceasing to exist would lead to the sort of global economic cataclysm the Democrats and other bleeding heart liberals keep insisting must happen,” said Burr, “Come to think of it, we’d sell one helluva lot more automobiles abroad without these guys in the way”. Continue reading

Sophia Love – Winging It – 9 October 2013

Sophia Love

This mountain top is familiar, yet not as comfortable as remembered.  It feels mostly, well, windy. Quiet.  Stark.  It is going to take some wings to move on.  Specially made wings, fitted for just this body.

Dana Mrkich – Living in ‘Now’ Time – 9 October 2013

Dana Colour Pic NewIt is an interesting feeling living in the NOW, almost like not standing on solid ground, yet it’s more stable really than where we used to stand which was predominantly constantly in the past or future.  Living in the past can have us feeling emotions like regret, anger and resentment a lot of the time. Living in the future results in a lot of unnecessary and unhelpful worry, fear, doubt and anxiety. Living in the Now feels, well, strange at first. Yes it can feel very calming and soothing, allowing yourself to trust life, trust yourself and trust your connection to that which is guiding you, all the time.  At first though, it can feel like you are in a void, neither here nor there.
