Hi!  I’m Laurie Orloff and I want to thank Lucas for agreeing to publish my new blog!  Thanks, Lucas!!

I have always written very quickly (two parenting books and for several newspapers), but it wasn’t until years and years after I started to write that I realized that I was channeling my Higher Self.  You know you are with your Higher Self when you are not judging anyone or anything and you are loving everything.  When you are in that place, information comes flowing out at break-neck speed. It can’t wait to get out and get to as many people as possible!  If you have writer’s block, you aren’t going to produce from your Higher Self if you do force yourself to write then.

Egyptian Police Fire Tear Gas To Disperse Pro-Morsi Student Protesters – 20 October 2013

Egyptian police fired tear gas at participants of a pro-Morsi student demonstration as they rallied and tried to march to a protest camp at Cairo’s Rabaa Square, which security forces cleared in mid-August.

A crowd of students, mostly from Al-Azhar University, started their protest with an on-campus march.

Demonstrators hurled stones at the administrator’s offices, smashing windows and breaking doors, said Ibrahim el-Houdhoud, deputy head of the university. He warned students against leaving campus and clashing with security forces, according to Al-Jazeera Mubasher Misr.

UK Doctors Given Bonuses For Placing Patients On ‘Death Lists’ – Report – 20 October 2013

General practitioners in England have been receiving £50 bonuses for placing patients on controversial ‘death lists’ in order to reduce the number of occupied hospital beds. The move is yet another tactic aimed at cutting NHS costs, UK media reported.

Each death which occurs outside an NHS hospital has been calculated to save the health system some £1,000 ($1,600) in England. On average, deaths which occur inside NHS hospitals cost the service around £3,065 (just under $5000), while those elsewhere cost £2,107 (around $3,400).

Doctors have been given bonuses for drawing up ‘end-of-life advanced care plans’ for patients they predict will die within a year.

They are preparing you to become the Beings of Light that you are. Like the butterfly, you are emerging from the chrysalis, awakening to who and what you are. Do not be alarmed when you experience EXTREME HEAT or COLD, DIZZINESS, alterations in your way of dealing with life, sleep, eating habits, etc. See each change as a stepping stone to fulfillment. There is no need to feel alarmed or seek medical help. It is a natural process. Welcome it.

What came up in the moment of now was a great view from above.  A colorful view of dots that became zooming in beautiful colored balloons.

I  saw you all like happy balloons in all your own resonating colours finding your flight path.  In  clusters, in one’s or in two’s that are entangled.  It does not matter. You all fly as high as you can in this new  space that moves you ahead by your vibrational energy wind. It is a limitless drive you have for sure. No fear is needed for a collapse or punctured balloon. It is safe to expand.  You all will do find your colourful resonating friends in midair.

The plan was to immerse ourselves in the local, become agents for change in our own community, so we ordered the area newspaper.  That was two months ago. It is supposed to be delivered 4 days a week.  We were lucky if it showed up ½ that much.

The engagement started out friendly, merely asking for a credit for the missed deliveries.  As it developed into a regular occurrence, (we were surprised when it showed up); contact became a bit testier.  It was the subject of our conversations each day.  “Did we get the paper today?”  We expected to be disappointed, and frustration emerged as our expectations were met.
