The Silence

In the beginning there was silence. The stillness of pre-creation. Prior to the first great exhale, the moment when Source projected part of its consciousness in order to create separation, and before the Mother-Father God system birthed the Christ, there was silence. Contemplation of creation.

I was talking on Skype this morning to an old Fleet Street friend about rumours of further Newscorp recordings that might damn the Dirty Digger further. She was one of those four years ago who dismissed the blogosphere’s (and to be fair, the Guardian’s) terrier-like certainty that it was all true and worse as “liberal conspiracy obsession syndrome”, but even this doubting (albeit nice) person now thinks Wriggly Rupert is damned.

A South Carolina election law may put a Libertarian Party candidate in a Charleston-area (District 42) Senate seat.  The seat was left vacant on May 31, when Democrat Robert Ford resigned due to a scandal surrounding the use of public funds at adult establishments.  A special election was held on October 1 and won by Democrat Marlon Kimpson, who garnered 79.6% of the vote.  See article.

Republican Billy Shuman Jr. got 19% of the vote, while Libertarian Party candidate Alex Thornton got just 1.2%.

The title of this post pretty much says it all. As my readers know I have been taking some time off to regroup and adjust to all the changes taking place at this time. It has been quite daunting for many of us I would imagine. In this time I took for myself, I came to the final decision that I will not be returning to write my blog ‘everyday’. I will continue to write from time to time if something inspires me to do so or if something major takes place that calls to me to write about again on a daily basis, I will. I have been summoned to spend my days now being aware of living and just being, in other words walking my talk.
