Confirming the floating rumor from last week that yet another Wall Streeter from a bailed out bank is going to set US economic policy, moments ago the Treasury announced that indeed the Citigroup economist Nathan Sheets – the bank’s global head of international economics – will start working next week as a counsellor to U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew.

I was re-reading the book The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz yet again and if only everyone were following the Four Agreements, how much better the world would be! I am continually astounded by the lies that are being flung around throughout the world right now and many from the highest positions in the country. Very disturbing to think our children are being taught the skills of dishonesty by our Government. It is invasive into our lives and so it is imperative we counteract that negative energy by living our own lives with integrity and love. The children need more than ever to have role models to emulate and so parents are needed to live up to their highest integrity and be there for them. We need to keep fighting against the immorality going on by raising our personal bars higher and higher in becoming the best that we can be! It is slowly working and we should stay focused on that fact to urge us onward.

Time for another Moroccan Diary update! We’ve come through the worst of the winter and seem to be heading into warmer and sunnier days. We still get brief periods of high winds and rain but nothing quite a severe as December. There has been some chemtrails here, which doesn’t often happen in Morocco. Rumor has it the government has paid for weather modification chemtrails to get water to agriculture in the Rif mountains. Heather showed me how to erase them by using my hand like a chalk board eraser…and you know…it really works, even I look like an idiot to the local gardners! 🙂 Its fun to watch them fade within seconds of leaving the jet that laid them down!

Bank of America Illegal Foreclosure Ruled Unconstitutional (Video) – 3 February 2014

Judge George N. Bowden of the Superior Court in Washington State ruled against Bank of America (BoA) in a foreclosure battle that ended with the “nonjudicial foreclosure sale under the Deed of Trust Act (DTA) [deemed] void” and the court setting the foreclosure aside.

In this case defended by StafneTrumbull law firm in Washington State, the homeowner won his house from BoA which is another big win against the company who has been caught doing these type of practices against millions of Americans.

The case of David Bird, the oil markets reporter who had worked at the Wall Street Journal for 20 years and vanished without a trace on the afternoon of January 11, has this in common with the other three tragedies: his work involves a commodities market – oil – which is under investigation by the U.S. Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations for possible manipulation. The FBI is involved in the Bird investigation.

Bird left his Long Hill, New Jersey home on that Saturday, telling his wife he was going for a walk. An intentional disappearance is incompatible with the fact that he left the house wearing a bright red jacket and without his life-sustaining medicine he was required to take daily as a result of a liver transplant. Despite a continuous search since his disappearance by hundreds of volunteers, local law enforcement and the FBI, Bird has not been located.

When a series of tragic events involving one industry occur within an 18-day timeframe, the statistical probability of these events being random is remote. According to a number of media reports, JPMorgan is conducting an internal investigation of the death of Gabriel Magee. Given that JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank and Russell Investments are subjects themselves of investigations, a more serious, independent look at these deaths is called for.

30Y Treasury Yield Tumbles To 7-Month Lows As Nasdaq Loses 4,000 – 3 February 2014

US equities are pressing fresh lows of the day as USDJPY tests 101. The Nasdaq just broke 4,000 – its worst drop in 8 months; The Dow trading back under its 200DMA; and now every major index is in negative territory from the December Taper. Most notably though, Treasury yields are tumbling as weak data and safe-haven flows have pressed 30-year yields to their lowest sicen July 5th 2013. VIX is trading 20.7% – its highest in 4 months.
