Steve Lendman – Media Prostitutes Defend The Indefensible – 21 March 2014

StevelendmanThey’re propagandists. They masquerade as journalists. They make street whores look respectable by comparison.
A previous article said they’re paid to lie, distort, and misinform. They blame imperial victims for horrendous crimes committed against them.
They support powerful monied interests. They cheerlead US imperial aggression. They call ravaging and destroying one country after another humanitarian intervention.
They ignore fundamental rule of law principles. They back wrong over right. They do it unapologetically. When America goes to war or intends to, they march in lockstep. Continue reading

ZeroHedge – Scotiabank: Mind The Gap Between Fed-Model “Theory” And Real-World “Practice” – 21 March 2014

ZeroHedgeVia Scotiabank’s Guy Haselmann,

Models vs. Real World

Yellen’s press conference was panned by some as confusing and ambiguous. I personally would have given her an A+ had she not made the critical unintentional mistake of reintroducing a time frame. Her stumble pushed her grade to B+.  When repeatedly pressed during Q&A to explain what “considerable time” meant, she stumblingly said “six months”.

  • The market naturally re-priced by moving forward expectations of the first rate hike from August 2015 to April 2015.  This is because, at the current pace of ‘tapering’, April coincides with the date that is six months after QE ends.

ZeroHedge – Putin Grateful To China, India For “Support” Over Crimea – 21 March 2014

ZeroHedgeWhile the most vocal mouthpieces of the western world’s nations are loudly condemning Vladimir Putin’s actions in Crimea – despite Ukraine itself suggesting he can keep it for a price – it appears the rest of the world is less voracious in its condemnation. As Putin noted this morning “we are grateful to all those who understood our actions in Crimea,” Putin said. “We are grateful to the people of China, whose leadership sees the situation in Crimea in all its historical and political integrity. We highly appreciate India’s restraint and objectivity.”

It would appear there are a number of nations that are “supportive” of Russia’s actions…Via Voice of Russia, …

UK Home Garden Diversity Aids Suffering Bee Population – 21 March 2014

Logo_activistpost-comIf you plant it, they will come. A new study confirms the crucial aid that typical British gardeners might unknowingly provide to rapidly declining pollinators.
According to Ecologists at Plymouth University, it matters not to busy bees where they are are getting their food sources. When searching for nectar and pollen, urban gardens make happy destinations for bumblebees. In fact, it might seem counter intuitive but urban dwellings can provide a safer area for bees that otherwise might get exposed to so much agricultural spraying.

Dana Mrkich – Equinox: Time For Balance – 21 March 2014

Dana Colour Pic NewI love March Equinox! It’s the start of a new astrological year and always has a ‘new chapter in the air’ feel about it whether you are experiencing Autumn or Spring.

The past month has had a very ‘on pause’ feel about it as we’ve experienced Mercury still in the retrograde shadow not to mention Mars and Saturn switched to ‘internal’ mode as they too are retrograde. Yet this ‘on-pause’ time is good for us. It is a reminder to stop, re-flect, re-charge and have a re-think about how you are using your energy, what is working for you in your life, and what is draining you. Too often we get stuck in auto-pilot and don’t break from our routine until a crisis of some kind gives us a wake up call, but we don’t have to wait for (or invite!) a crisis to take a deeper look at the way in which we are living our life.  Continue reading

Merrill Lynch & told the Government in 2008 it would cost €16.4bn at most to rescue Irish banks, a quarter of the eventual bill for bailing out its financial system.

Visionkeeper – Distrust – 21 March 2014

Music to read by below:

These are very strange times blowing around us right now. The energies are trying and their seems to be no respite from them. We are being tested mightily, but we must remain strong and not bend beneath the weight. It seems that this Flight 370 disaster has come forth and shined a massive spotlight on what exactly is wrong in the world. I am sorry it took such a tragedy to bring it forth, but if we recognize the problem and come together to solve it, then this tragic mystery will not be in vain. When we are mired in the depths of tragedy and we play games and hide secrets over trying to save those in desperate trouble, then we have fallen about as far down into the cesspool as we can go. We can’t share satellite information to find a missing plane because we can’t let other countries know our capabilities. Indonesia is refusing search planes to fly in their air space. Very few countries will come forth and show their radar information for the same reasons they won’t share satellite information. My goodness, what does all of this say about the state of the world? Our distrust for one another runs so deep we can’t even come together and search for a missing airliner. We would rather hide our secrets than save the lives of 239 innocent people. What a very sad state of affairs. It is most shameful! Continue reading

John Ward – Erdogan’s Twitter Ban, And Why It Gives The Seamless Elite A Problem From Greece To The Ukraine – 21 March 2014

erdogobptnet
Erdogob tells it like it isAnother blunder comes back to haunt the Prime Minister this morning, as his good friend Erdogan the Mad of Turkey has banned Twitter, in an attempt to become what he has obviously always been: a closet Islamist fascist. This also gives NATO aka Washington and Brussels something tricky to think about, as – having supped with the Devil in order to have Assad well and truly surrounded plus an alternative route to oil or gas energy – they now have to lengthen their spoon a little. Such are the wages of gluttony. Continue reading
