Hundreds of people have gathered in the nation’s capital this weekend for Operation American Spring. Though you will likely see no video of this march on the national news this weekend, the march was attended by Americans demanding answers in regard to Benghazi and the current state of our nation.
The event has received virtually no media attention but appears to have been called for by retired Col. Harry Riley. Riley at one point was calling for 10 to 30 million Tea Party members across the country to turn out for the event. Clearly the turnout was nowhere near what had been expected. Though videos from the scene do show that some people turned out voice their displeasure with the power structure in Washington. One that is unresponsive to the people regardless of which party is in power.
