In an upcoming Memorial Day weekend it is also time to see reality in the now.  We should remember that what was for some a very intense experience in the past from a loss from somebody you cared for due to war and  other military missions. It is though not all about the remembering why people fought for a perspective  for a freedom now in the past. It is about seeing and remembering the factional perspective of all of us now being struggling and enslaved by financial tyranny and debt as well as the loss of our freedom and rights at home.

The first tropical storm of the eastern Pacific hurricane season, Tropical Storm Amanda, formed Thursday afternoon as a tropical depression about 635 miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and is expected to continue drifting toward the west or west-northwest over the next several days. Iranian Court Bans Instagram Over Privacy Complaints – 23 May 2014

An Iranian court has banned the photo-sharing app Instagram over privacy concerns, according to a local news agency.

The country’s Ministry of Telecommunications received the order to impose the measure after some citizens complained that the world’s popular app violates their privacy, Mehr reports, citing an official.

The order adds globally-popular Instagram to the list of already forbidden social websites such as Twitter, YouTube and Facebook (Instagram’s owner).

RT Spanish Crew Denied Entry To Ukraine Despite Accreditation – 23 May 2014

An RT Spanish crew accredited to cover the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine, scheduled for May 25, haven’t been allowed to enter the country, without explanation, and were sent back to Moscow.

RT cameraman Aleksandr Serichenko and his assistant, Andrey Peleshok, were refused entry at Odessa Airport, southern Ukraine. The journalists have the accreditation from Ukraine’s Central Election Commission.

“Without explaining the reason for refusal, the members of [Ukrainian] border service forced the RT crew to buy return tickets at their own expense,” said the statement from RT’s press service.

Japanese Mayor Sounds Battle Cry Over US Military Base Plans – 23 May 2014

The relocation of a US Marine base from Okinawa, Japan to the smaller city of Nago may prove an uphill battle for Tokyo and Washington as Mayor Susumu Inamine upholds pledge to his constituents who oppose the plans.

The controversy surrounds long-term plans to move the US Marine Air Station at Futenma, which is situated in a densely populated urban area in southern Okinawa, to Noga, a smaller city to the north that already hosts Camp Schwab, another US Marine base.

The residents of Noga now say enough is enough. Their overall negative attitude to the plans was apparent in the re-election of Mayor Inamine in January by a wide margin in what was for all intents and purposes a de facto referendum on the US military base.
