A massive Soviet-built generator – once used for testing the resistance of aircraft to lightning, but now largely mothballed due to prohibitive costs – has staged a striking demonstration test at the behest of RT.
The 6-Megavolt device, one of the most powerful in the world, is capable of generating 200 meter-long lightning bolts, and was constructed in the 1970s at a closed facility outside Moscow, but fell into disuse after the collapse of the USSR.
Searching for the hidden word that acknowledges your view.
Looking for all answers in a methodical strange inconsistent way.
Feeling the one answer is still not given.
It is not out there but in reach and so near.
An investigation for truth is finding perceptions.
View the differences that make up the whole.
Energetics leave the answer in a sea of peace.
Opening up in tears as within Eureka is found.
The new developing is timeless balance.
The heart of the one is found beating within.
Connection to the field of all is the knowing.
Questions become pointless.
The quest is over.
Much Love and Light,

America’s second largest lender has reached a $17 billion settlement with US federal authorities over selling bad mortgages, according to sources close to the negotiations.
The bank will pay out $10 billion in cash and $7 billion for consumer relief – such as modified home loans and refinanced mortgages, AP reports, citing officials close to the negotiations. The final verdict is due on Thursday.
The fine will be the largest single compensation settlement, beating out JPMorgan Chase & Co’s $13 billion penalty paid in November 2013. Citigroup, another major US bank, had to pay $7 billion in July.
Citing the national school shooting epidemic and potential acts of terrorism, the Compton, California school board has approved a policy allowing select campus police officers to carry semi-automatic AR-15 rifles in their patrol cars while on duty.
The school board approved a policy in July that will allow certain school district officers to buy these rifles and hold them in their cars should a mass shooting or terror attack occur, according to KPCC. The school district will train the chosen officers, who will then carry the firearms in their cars starting next month.
The policy has residents of Compton, located in southern Los Angeles County, concerned over potential use of excessive force in a school district that has, in the past, seen allegations from students of racial profiling by Compton school police officers.
United States President Barack Obama condemned the gruesome videotaped killing of American journalist James Foley Wednesday afternoon in a statement from Martha’s Vineyard.
“Today the entire world is appalled by the brutal murder of James Foley by the terrorist group ISIL,” Pres. Obama said during a live address from Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, where he resumed his vacation late Tuesday after unexpectedly returning to the White House earlier this week
Hours before Pres. Obama returned to Martha’s Vineyard, an online video surfaced purported to show the beheading of Foley, a photojournalist, being carried out by members of the Islamic State, formerly known as ISIS or ISIL. On Wednesday morning, the National Security Council confirmed the authenticity of the footage.
Russia’s consumer watchdog has shut down three McDonald’s restaurants in central Moscow – including the first-ever outlet in the country – over “administrative violations.” More of the company 430 Russian franchises are under investigation.
“Multiple violations of sanitary norms were detected in the sourcing of food and waste disposal of McDonald’s restaurants during inspections carried out between the 18th and 20th of August,” said an official statement from the watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor.
The company has said that it will study the allegations against its franchises, and “will do everything to ensure that the restaurants open as soon as possible.”
In a life of extreme synchronicity, prophetic dreams and generally inexplicable things, the following series of events comes in very close to the top of strangeness. To those few of you who’ve heard part of the sunflower saga as it relates to my ticket to the North American Permaculture Convergence, I can only say, “But wait! There’s more.” I hadn’t planned to share this in public, but the entire situation has become so odd and so illustrative that I feel called to do so. Warning: this will be a mighty long and mighty weird post. 🙂Continue reading →

The British government is currently lobbying the European Commission (EC) for a legal exemption to keep a south-Wales power station open, despite the fact its nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions exceed EU legal limits by 500 percent.
Concerns about Aberthaw Power Station’s emission levels have been compounded by an alliance of NGOs’ recent criticism of the company being one of Europe’s highest carbon-emitting plants. Both Carbon monoxide and NOx are known to cause lung disease and respiratory failures.
In October 2013, a report by the European Environment Agency (EEA) found that more than 90 percent of people living in European cities breathe dangerously noxious air. Against a backdrop of mounting concern that the continents’ air pollution levels require stringent action, the EC has initiated infraction proceedings against the British government.
