Yet so many of you struggle for solutions to life’s challenges without reaching for help from the heavens. We understand that you have been let down by other human beings and we understand that, at times, dear ones, you even expect disappointment from God.

Can you have help in your life? We would ask, “Are you willing to believe and receive?” In truth help is always there. God is always there. Your angels are always there. We want to help you. We want to make your lives easier. But it is up to you to decide how much we are allowed to assist. If you are praying for help, but in your depths have a belief that “no one listens,”or “no one cares,” then dear ones we can only help to a degree.

‘Seen’ In New York: Edward Snowden On The Run Again – 11 October 2014

Edward Snowden may not have a Nobel Prize or be able to go home, but he’s got a statue in Manhattan and a blockbuster new documentary, where he tells the behind the scenes story of his decision to go public with terabytes of classified government docs.

New Yorkers got a strange surprise on Friday when a 9-foot hunk of white drywall appeared in Union Square in an art piece dedicated to Edward Snowden, the man who told the world just how much the US government is watching and listening in on our every move.

New Yorkers can also catch him on the big screen – the documentary about his massive document leak, “Citizenfour”debutedin the city on Friday. The film gives hope for his love life, as it depicts him reunited with his dancer girlfriend in Moscow.

Briefly on display in Union Square Park in lower Manhattan, the NSA whistleblower’s statue was positioned awkwardly with his hands slumped in his pockets and an inquisitive look on his face.

UK Intelligence Agencies Monitor ‘1,000s Of Terror Suspects’ Daily – London Mayor – 11 October 2014

British security services are constantly monitoring thousands of people suspected of terrorist activities, London Mayor Boris Johnson told the Daily Telegraph in an interview.

“In London we’re very, very vigilant and very, very concerned,” he said.

In August, the UK government raised its “threat level” to “severe” the second-highest on its scale, against the backdrop of the IS advances in the Middle East and the fact that some 500 Britons have travelled to fight alongside IS, according to the British government. Some analysts have suggested the real figure is much higher.

Johnson said that “a third, maybe more – maybe half – come from the London area,” and “if and when they come back, we have a real job to deal with them.”

6.3 Quake Off Northern Japanese Coast As Typhoon Vongfong Hits Okinawa – 11 October 2014

A 6.3 earthquake has been registered early Saturday off Japan’s northern coast by the US Geological Survey. The quake comes as the world’s biggest super-typhoon this year, Vongfong, is striking the south of the country.

The tremor occurred at 02:36 GMT, the Japan Meteorological Agency reported. There have been no reports of damage, casualties or a tsunami alert.

The epicenter of the quake was located 154 kilometers away from the southeastern city of Hachinohe, in Japan’s southeast Aomori Prefecture, at a depth of 13 kilometers.

The epicenter of the latest earthquake is situated relatively far away, about 400 kilometers, from the Fukushima nuclear power plant, which was severely damaged by an earthquake and a tsunami in March 2011.

Bankocalypse Drill: US And UK To Run ‘Too Big To Fail’ Collapse Simulation – 11 October 2014

The US and UK will stage a comprehensive simulation next week check whether the countries’ financial and banking sectors are still vulnerable to the problem of the ‘too big to fail’ institutions and coordinate their actions in case of such collapse.

Government financial leaders from Britain and US will simulate a failure of a large banking institution on Monday in Washington, DC, to test the effectiveness of each county’s banking regulations.

They hope the simulation – which will not mimic the collapse of any particular ‘too big to fail’ institution – will demonstrate what the officials have learned from the financial crisis about their respective roles, and how new practices should shield taxpayers from further bailouts. The simulation will run through procedures if a large UK bank with US operations failed, and those for a US bank with a British presence.

DEA ‘Interested’ In Americans’ Investments In Canada’s Medical Pot Business – 11 October 2014

Those US citizens who have grabbed an opportunity to profit off the booming Canadian medical marijuana market may eventually find themselves breaking US laws, as the DEA seems to be tracking potential money laundering and drug trafficking violators.

The Canadian government passed laws in April making it legal for any licensed company to grow and ship medical marijuana. And while US investors are active in Canada, they are being scrutinized for possible violations of US laws, Reuters reports.

Calling investing in Canada’s marijuana business reckless, risky and potentially illegal, a former US Drug Enforcement Administration official told Reuters the agency is watching American businesses for possible violations.

US Commissions ‘Crucial’ NATO Missile Shield Facility In Romania – 11 October 2014

The US has assumed control of a missile-intercepting defense base in southern Romania as part of a new and controversial NATO missile shield in a move that has unsettled Russia as NATO bolsters its presence in Europe.

“This is an historic occasion,” said NATO Deputy Secretary-General Alexander Vershbow during the inauguration ceremony at the Deveselu military base, south Romania.

“The facility here in Deveselu will be a crucial component in building up NATO’s overall ballistic missile defense system,” Vershbow said, reported Stars and Stripes. “By the end of 2015 this base will be operational and integrated into the overall NATO system.”

Armenia To Join Eurasian Economic Union – 11 October 2014

Leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia have signed a treaty that will make Erevan a new member of the Eurasian Economic Union, a free trade zone made up of former Soviet states to rival the European Union.

The deal was signed Friday at the summit of the Eurasian Economic Union in Minsk.

Russian President Vladimir Putin believes Armenia is ready to join the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), and expects a positive economic effect.

“In our opinion, Armenia is ready to integrate with the EEU on par with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan,” Putin said, commenting on the signing.
