The young French start-up Prynt recently presented its smartphone case, which includes a built-in printer. It is connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth and can produce a photo in about 50 seconds.

But the creators say their case will soon be printing pictures in just 30 seconds.

At the moment, only one sheet of paper can fit in the case. However, this will soon be increased to up to 30 pieces, Prynt CEO Clement Perrot said.

Cannabis Combined With Radiotherapy Can Make Brain Cancer ‘Disappear,’ Study Claims – 16 November 2014

RT logoTwo cannabis components can have a significant effect on the size of cancerous tumors in the brain, especially when combined with radiotherapy, according to new research. The study says the growths can virtually “disappear.”

The research was carried out by specialists at St Georges, University of London and published in the Molecular Cancer Therapeutics journal.

There are some 85 cannabinoids in the cannabis plant, but the two that had a demonstrably positive effect were tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).

Combining their use alongside radiotherapy shows a drastic effect, the study claims.

Brain cancer killed around 5,200 people in Britain in 2012.

John Ward – Zero Hour Conundrum As Shocked Roman Nazis Slam Miliband In New Tabloid Syntax Shocker – 16 November 2014

JohnWThe Mail today features a whole new concept in employment deregulation: zero hour contracts.

I’m not entirely sure why the Dacre Wail has dropped the s off hours, but our finest brains here at Sloggers’ Roost have been working on the conundrum, and our collective view is that the Coalition Government plans to offer a lucrative contract to everyone in the country at zero hour…..viz, just as the May 2015 election draws to a close – and it looks very much like the two largest Parties are going to be the SNP and Labour – a big fat contract will be awarded to anyone guaranteeing to vote Camerlot. Putin: Russia Won’t Demand $3Bn Early Repayment That Would Ruin Ukraine – 16 November 2014

RT logoThough Russia has a right to demand an early repayment of its $3 billion loan to Kiev if its total debt exceeds 60 percent of GDP, Moscow has already decided against it, as it wants Ukraine to get on its feet, Vladimir Putin told German ARD channel.

Vladimir Putin answered questions from ARD’s Hubert Seipel.

Hubert Seipel: After the Crimea joined Russia, the West expelled Russia from the Group of Eight, this exclusive club of industrial states. At the same time the USA and Great Britain imposed sanctions against Russia. Now you are heading to a G20 summit of the most important industrial states on the planet. The focus there will be on economic growth and employment. Russian Finance Minister said the following about your country: “There is no more growth and unemployment is set to increase. The sanctions are starting to have an effect: both the ruble and the oil price have set anti‑records.” This is the exact opposite of what you are going to speak about in Brisbane. The forecast of attaining 2 percent growth in Russia is unfeasible. Other countries are in the same situation. This crisis has a counter‑productive character, including for the upcoming summit, wouldn’t you say?

ZeroHedge – Putin Arrives At G-20 Meeting Escorted By 4 Warships; Sent Clear ‘Message’ By World Leaders – 16 November 2014

ZeroHedgeHaving been ‘guest-of-honor’ at the APEC Summit the previous week, it appears Russian President Vladimir Putin is getting the ‘Obama-at-APEC’ treatment at the G-20 meeting in Brisbane. Following his ‘odd’ shaped convoy of protection last week, The Independent reports Putin chose a different type of entourage this week as he headed to meet the world’s leaders. Putin has stationed four warships close to Australian waters as he arrived in Australia. Having drawn ridicule from no lesser wit than Britain’s David Cameron who sarcastically bleeted, I didn’t feel it necessary to bring a warship myself to keep myself safe at this G20, and I’m sure that Putin won’t be in any danger,” when it came time for the team photo, it was clear what ‘message’ was being sent

Black Hole At Milky Way Center May Be Emitting Mysterious Neutrinos, NASA Says – 16 November 2014

RT logoThe massive black hole at the heart of our milky galaxy may be churning out peculiar particles called neutrinos, NASA satellites have revealed. If verified, it would be the first time neutrinos have been traced to the darkest regions of spacetime.

The subatomic activity was first detected by three NASA satellites, which observe in x-ray light: the Chandra X-ray Observatory, the Swift gamma-ray mission, and the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR), the space agency said in a press release.

Neutrinos, from the Italian “little ones”, live up to their namesake, as they are tiny by even subatomic standards. Carrying no charge, they are unaffected by the electromagnetic forces that affect charged particles such as electrons and protons.
