Bulgarian Politicians Say Russia’s Decision On South Stream ‘Logical’ – 2 December 2014

Moscow’s decision to drop the South Stream gas pipeline was the “logical conclusion to a prolonged story,” politicians in Bulgaria say.

“This [decision to halt South Stream] is really bad for Bulgaria,” Tass news agency quoted Bulgarian MP Borislav Borisov as saying. “We have lost an essential project. I was surprised by the news, but, perhaps, Russia’s decision is natural, as the Bulgarian government hasn’t been actively engaged in this project in recent years.”

Borisov said Russia’s decision was a “logical conclusion to a prolonged story,” as it couldn’t wait forever to hear a positive reply from Bulgaria.

Lisa Gawlas – December 11th: The New Pillar Of Light (11) Is YOU!! – 2 December 2014

It seems December is now being shared in parts, the first part being the first week we are now in.  The culmination of this week, creating outcomes of continued direction for the next part of December.  The focal point beyond this week, is that interesting date of the 11th, that is what I would like to expand on today.  I so wish I could put this into a video or hell, even a painting, because you would understand where I know my words are going to fail… but alas, my words are my only paintbrush… dammit!!

Lets first take the number 11, two 1’s that create a column or pillar, the ones also representing new beginnings when separated, butting them together to form the eleven is spiritual illumination, a light house if you will.   It is also our new storehouse of Light as well, but different than ever before.  (<–this part, I am still trying to understand.)

US claims Iran Is Bombing ISIS In Iraq – 2 December 2014

The United States understands that Iran is also bombing areas of Iraq where extremist group Islamic State is operating, a defense official has confirmed, but it will not respond to Tehran’s presence unless there is an immediate threat to US forces.

“We are aware of that. I wouldn’t say we’re necessarily concerned with it – we kind of have our eyes on it,” the official told The Huffington Post, adding that Iran is bombing targets close to its own border with Iraq.

The US is currently leading its own airstrike campaign – assisted by Western allies like the UK and regional partners like Saudi Arabia – against Islamic State (also known as ISIS or ISIL) in Iraq and Syria, countries where the group has come to control large swaths of territory.

The official’s claims come days after IHS Jane’s Defence Weekly, a British defense analysis organization, and Israeli news outlet Haaretz both reported that an Iranian jet had flown through Iraqi airspace.

#ThingsNowBannedInUKPorn: Internet Reacts Hilariously To ‘Absurd’ New Porn Law – 2 December 2014

A long list of sexual activities has been banned from UK porn following a recent amendment to the 2003 Communications Act. Featured on the list are recreational pastimes such as spanking, caning, aggressive whipping, female ejaculation and facesitting.

The new regulations will not stop viewers enjoying various styles of pornography, but online video makers in the UK will now have to adhere to the same rules laid out by the British Board of Film Censors (BBFC) as adult DVDs sold in shops.

The move has been criticized by femdoms (female dominatrixes) who claim the “outlawed” practices appear to target women, who are more likely to gain pleasure from the activities than men.

“The new legislation is absurd and surreal,” Itziar Bilbao Urrutia, a dominatrix who produces porn with a feminist theme, told Vice UK.

Anti-Terror Laws A Threat To Student Activists – Critics – 2 December 2014

Student activism may be at risk as a result of new anti-terror rules set out by the British government, with protesters facing Public Order Offence charges if police believe them to be involved in suspicious activities.

In a compendium of new measures pushed by the Home Secretary Theresa May, universities will face significant pressure to reduce activities that could lead to ‘extremism’, including banning controversial speakers and curbing events that could lead to public disorder.

Obama Appoints Ashton Carter As Pentagon Chief – 2 December 2014

President Barack Obama is expected to announce Ashton B. Carter as his nominee to be the next secretary of defense, the Associated Press reports. Carter served as the Pentagon’s second-in-command from October 2011 to December 2013.

If confirmed by the Senate, Carter would replace current Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, who announced his resignation last Monday. Carter served as deputy secretary under both Hagel and his predecessor, Leon Panetta. Before that, he was the under secretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics from April 2009 until October 2011, where he “led the Department’s efforts to accelerate the fulfillment of urgent operational needs; increase the Department’s buying power; and strengthen the nation¹s defenses against emerging threats,” according to his DOD bio. In layman’s terms, he was the Pentagon’s “chief arms buyer,” Reuters noted.

The AP reported that a senior GOP senator confirmed early Tuesday that Obama has chosen Carter for the role.
