Amid a recount of Oregon’s ballot initiative over labeling of genetically-modified foods, the pro-agribusiness contingent, known as the “No on 92 Coalition,” tried to illegally place out-of-state election observers in at least four counties, opponents say.
The statewide vote on Measure 92 – which, if passed, would demand genetically-engineered ingredients to be labeled as such – is subject to a hand recount given the original, computerized tally showed that the initiative failed by just 812 votes, within the mandatory-recount margin. The recount began on Tuesday and will continue through Dec. 9.
The European Union has amended sanctions against Russia’s biggest lenders like Sberbank and VTB on long-term financing, and eased some sanctions on the oil industry.
The EU says Russia’s biggest lenders – Sberbank, VTB, Gazprombank, Vnesheconombank and Rosselkhozbank – will now be allowed access to long –term financing should the solvency of their European subsidiaries be at risk.
The announcement released Friday refers to “loans that have a specific and documented objective to provide emergency funding to meet solvency and liquidity criteria for legal persons established in the Union, whose proprietary rights are owned for more than 50 percent by any entity referred to in Annex III [Russian banks – Ed.].”
In this powerful, eye-opening film, investigative journalist and award-winning filmmaker Bill Still (The Money Masters and The Secret of Oz) unravels the secretive 1913 formation of the privately owned Federal Reserve and the creation of National Debt by Senator Nelson W. Aldrich and representatives of J.P. Morgan, Rockefeller and Kuhn, Loeb & Co., at Jekyll Island in Georgia, USA.
Finland has approved plans for a nuclear power plant to be built by Russia’s Rusatom Overseas with an $8.7 billion price tag, even though there are worsening economic relations between Russia and the rest of Europe.
The reactor will be built in northern Finland for the Fennovoima power company, and financed by Russia’s state-controlled Rusatom. It is scheduled to begin operation in 2024.
Fennovoima said in a statement that the decision to go ahead is important to the Finnish economy.
“I want to thank parliament for the trust they have shown in this important project. The Hanhikivi 1 nuclear power plant will generate emission-free electricity for Fennovoima’s owners at a predictable and reasonable price for decades to come. This large-scale investment will create jobs and give a much-needed boost to the economy”, said Toni Hemminki, CEO of Fennovoima.

US House members admitted they had not read the entire $585 billion, 1,648-page National Defense Authorization Act, which predominantly specifies budgeting for the Defense Department, before it was voted on Thursday in Congress.
“Of course not. Are you kidding?” Rep. Jim Moran (D-Virginia) said when asked by CNSNews if he had perused the entire bill, which was just posted online late Tuesday night before it was ultimately passed in by the House by a vote of 300-119 about 36 hours later.
Moran said he did not plan to read the entire bill before voting because “I trust the leadership.”
“Do you think [House Speaker John] Boehner and [Senate Majority Leader Harry] Reid have read it?” asked CNSNews.
I just finished going over the fourth book of the Pleiadian Perspective on Ascension. It is titled, “It Is The NOW.” There are some very informative messages through out the book that I want to share you. I edited this book quite a bit and some of these messages were not in the first book. Also, the book won’t be published for a bit. Therefore, I decided that since I needed to read these messages a few times to really understand them, then even if you did read them long ago, they are more timely now than ever.Continue reading →

The State Department spokesperson attempted to dodge the question with a convoluted platitude.
“Generally, we continue to believe that upholding impartial standards of accountability will advance the political consensus on which Egypt’s long-term stability and economic growth depends,” she said on camera.
The immigration debate will get “very nasty” if politicians continue to ignore the pressure foreigners are placing on Britain’s public services at a time of budget cuts and austerity, a Labour MP has warned.
Frank Field, a socially conservative former employment minister who now co-chairs the cross-party Balanced Migration group, said while immigrants make a positive contribution to the economy, it is “a lot less than people think.”
“If you look at now the rate of increase in population then every two and a half years with people coming in for the first time and with the children of people who have arrived here for the immigrant community, we are actually increasing our population faster than the whole size of Birmingham,” he told the Today program on BBC Radio 4.
Between this weekend’s full moon and the amplification effect that builds each year at the holidays, most people are feeling a bit more on edge and overloaded. It’s like there’s a sense of hurry in the air, and to do lists you didn’t even know you had appearing out of nowhere!
These effects are obvious, but there’s something new about how you may be experiencing them this December.
What’s New this December
First, this hasn’t been an ordinary or easy year. There have been lighter moments sprinkled throughout, of course, but we’re still in the midst of a very challenging cycle of revolutionary change. That long cycle has had some key peak moments in 2014 – like the Grand Cross planetary line-up last April. That alignment further stirred the already-churning momentum of society upheaval as well as an intense desire for big changes in all aspects of how life is lived. Regardless of what country you live in, these themes are an obvious part of the landscape. Continue reading →

If you are worrying about seeming declining times, do not! It is about the last climax of the battle that has been already won by the Conscious Light and by our own Divine Nature!
The powerful times of Dreaming have returned in this world. They surround us as thick and warm frequencies, soft, deep and with the quality of infinity and peace. And we need to recognize them also in the hidden space of the Heart. Because what we find outside is a reflection of what is inside of us. Continue reading →
