Jon Rappoport – The Artist On Trial – 21 January 2015

jon7Guilty! the Judge said, and it was over.

The charge? Maintaining that his work was his own, that he had done it himself, that he had made the choices and invented the words and imagined the whole thing, whatever it was, the novel, the poem, the play.

What it was, was not on trial. Nothing to do with the message. No, it was all about attribution.

Because the great spiritual merger had already taken place. The masses had undergone enlightenment, and the government had seen it—actually, seen TO it—and then declared that artists could face jail time for pretending to be what many of them said they were: Continue reading

Wes Annac – The Path To Heaven: Freeing Ourselves From Beliefs – 21 January 2015

wesannac2Written by Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

I’m reaching a point where I no longer want to pour my faith into any specific belief. Every belief contains its truths and untruths, and like a lot of people have realized, we can take what works for us from each belief and let the rest fall away.

I’ve been writing about open-mindedness lately, and like I said in a recent article, an important part of being open-minded is being diligent enough not to put all our energy and attention into a certain belief just because it’s more appealing than the distorted religions we’ve grown out of. NaturalNews – L.J. Devon – Washington State Threatens To Seize Baby Unless Entire Family Gets Flu Shot – 21 January 2015

NaturalNewss Logo-April-2014(NaturalNews) One of the worst diseases infecting the very heart of America is the use of force. The use of force allows one group or person control over another. Force is one group taking from another person because they think they have the power to do so. It’s a law mandating what everyone must buy while threatening non-compliance with an escalating yearly fine (Obamacare).

Force allows authority to dictate what you can and cannot put into your body. It tells you exactly what you must put into your body, even if that means forcing a mustard gas treatment called chemotherapy into your child’s body, even when there are other, safer options that exist. Continue reading

NaturalNews – CDC Caught Inflating Flu Deaths To Sell More Vaccines – 21 January 2015

NaturalNewss Logo-April-2014(NaturalNews) You know that “36,000” number the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) is constantly throwing around as the number of people in the U.S. who supposedly die every year from influenza? It’s completely made up, and its purpose is to sell more flu vaccines, as evidenced by actual mortality data showing that only a few hundred people at most die from influenza annually.

As highlighted by the American Society of Registered Nurses (ASRN), government claims that tens or even hundreds of thousands of people are dying left and right because they aren’t getting their flu shots is total bunk. Data pulled from death certificates and the U.S. National Vital Statistics System (NVSS) reveal that very few people die from the flu, suggesting that it really isn’t much of a threat.

Compared to almost every other potential cause of death out there, the flu hardly even ranks as a threat. If you’re a woman, the data shows that you’re more likely to die during pregnancy and childbirth than from the flu. At most, only about 500 people die every year from the actual flu, and a study published in the American Journal of Public Health (AJPH) suggests that even this number is far too high. Steve Lendman – America’s Abysmal State – 21 January 2015

StevelendmanAmerica never was beautiful. Less than ever now during harder than ever hard times since the Great Depression.

Permanent wars on humanity at home and abroad. Bipartisan defense of wealth, power and privilege at the expense of beneficial social change.

Obama’s State of the Union address combined demagogic rubbish, duplicitous boilerplate, pure fantasy, colossal arrogance, and a contemptible assertion of US supremacy.

“…America stands strong and united with our allies,” he said. Leading “with persistent, steady resolve.” Continue reading

Studies highlight the drastic decline in the faith Britons have for their government, and this is confirmed by 48 percent who believe politicians are “out for themselves” and not their country.

As the general election approaches, Cameron has failed to deliver his pledges to restore the UK’s trust in politicians.

YouGov researchers on behalf of Southampton University believe that “good longitudinal data on public attitudes towards politics and politicians” are difficult to come by.

‘US Unilateral Actions To Protect Its Interests Let Other Govts Use Same Excuse’ – 21 January 2015

RT logoUS should hold itself to a higher standard and stop acting unilaterally and violating international rules whenever it feels its interests jeopardized, said Nick Sarwark of the Libertarian National Committee on President Obama’s State of the Union speech.

RT:President Obama appealed for bi-partisan support during the address. Has he got it from smaller parties like yours?

Nick Sarwark: I think that the President is going to face a tough road in the Congress that is primarily run by the Republicans now. The Libertarian Party agrees with him on a few points. We agree with him that we have to show more leadership by finishing the job of closing Guantanamo, we agree with the opening of relations with Cuba.

Baker Hughes Slashes 7,000 Jobs As Falling Price Forces Big Oil Austerity – 21 January 2015

RT logoThe world’s third largest oilfield services company Baker Hughes Inc. plans to slash 7,000 jobs due to reeling oil prices, which are pushing big oil to cut production and new projects.

“This industry can’t simply hope and wait for oil to climb back over $100 a barrel. Instead, we must adapt to a new reality of sustained lower commodity prices,” Martin Craighead, CEO, said during a conference call discussing 4th quarter earnings on Tuesday.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil, the most common blend in the US, is priced at $46.40, less than half its value in September of 2014. Bank of America has forecast oil could drop as low to $31 per barrel in 2015.
