NaturalNews – Jonathan Benson – Establishment Academia’s Credibility Destroyed By Hundreds Of Cases Of Research Fraud, Plagiarism – 18 February 2015

NaturalNewss Logo-April-2014(NaturalNews) What was once considered a rare exception to the norm appears to be evolving into a disturbingly common pattern of abuse. Peer-reviewed science, and the integrity of what makes it into even the most well-respected scientific journals today, may not be all that it seems, as closer scrutiny reveals rampant publishing of plagiarized and oftentimes entirely fraudulent content.

Research studies that seem on their surface to have been vested by qualified scholars are increasingly turning out to be completely fabricated, according to new reports. An extensive investigation by Scientific American’s Charles Seife, for instance, reveals a shocking pattern of counterfeit “paper mill” studies making their way into some of the most highly regarded and extensively cited journals, further damaging the credibility of what the world considers to be factual knowledge. ActivistPost – From Manhattan Project To A.I.: The Coming Synthetic Rewrite Of Nature – 18 February 2015

Activist Post

It is not by accident or organic, “grassroots” trend that numerous films are coming focused on artificial intelligence and the transhumanist takeover.  From H.G. Wells’ tales of genetic chimeras in The Island of Dr. Moreau to Sixth Day with Schwarzenegger, to coming A.I. films like Chappie, the predictive programming preparations are rolling out.  My recent research has focused on the Manhattan, and like the MK ULTRA programs, Manhattan had a much wider application than is commonly known.

Companies Forced To Anonymously Fight Back Against FBI Surveillance – 18 February 2015

RT logoTwo companies are asking the United States government to let Twitter publish details about secret requests the social media site has received from law enforcement, but the Justice Department says national security requires those entities to not be named.

The fate of the United States government’s ability to silently serve tech companies with a type of court order that compels firms to hand over private user data to federal authorities is currently being fought, predictably, cloak-and-dagger.

A lawsuit filed in the Northern District of California late last year by Twitter, the social networking platform, seeks to have a federal court judge say that the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s practice of serving companies with National Security Letters, or NSLs – a type of administrative subpoena issued often with gag orders and almost always absent judicial oversight – violates the Constitution.

Super-Strong Sea Creature Teeth Tough Enough To Make Ships – Study – 18 February 2015

RT logoThe newest contender for the strongest material is found in the sea. Science has discovered recently that teeth belonging to tiny marine creatures called limpets are so incredibly tough they could be used to construct boats.

The chompers are 100 times thinner than the diameter of a human hair. Scientists have determined that if we built huge structures from material fashioned from limpet teeth, they would be as strong and unbreakable as the smallest piece of the material – a massive advantage for engineering.

Limpets are snail-type creatures crawling along the sea bed, carrying their portable, cone-shaped homes with them. Scientists decided to use a process known as atomic force microscopy on a set of limpet teeth to test how the material behaves at a microscopic level, and how strongly it bonds together.

Grexit: Win For Both EU And Greece? – 18 February 2015

RT logoDownload video (42.58 MB)

If, in the next 48 hours, Athens and Brussels fail to strike a bailout deal, Greece could be forced to leave the eurozone, and that might not be so bad after all.

“I think at the end of the day, Greece will leave, there will be a so-called Grexit. I think it will be good for Greece, good for Europe because it will mean someone that takes a loss,” Steen Jakobsen, chief economist at Saxo Bank, told RT.

The odds that Greece will leave the eurozone are 20 percent, Eurasia Group’s European analyst Mujtaba Rahman told CNBC. Germany’s Commerzbank has upped their estimate to 50 percent.
