NaturalNews – David Gutierrez – Scientists Suggest Government Should Add Psych Meds To Public Drinking Water – 10 March 2015

NaturalNewss Logo-April-2014(NaturalNews) With a study currently underway in Scotland to assess whether lithium in drinking water is linked with lower suicide rates, we may soon see a renewed push to add yet another bioactive substance to public water supplies.

In 2009, researchers from Oita University in Japan released the results of a study finding that regions of the country with higher naturally occurring levels of lithium in the water had lower levels of suicide than regions with less lithium. This led to a flurry of calls for lithium to be added to public water, much as fluoride is by many municipalities.

Lithium is a naturally occurring chemical element that, at high doses, is used for the treatment of bipolar disorder and severe depression. Side effects of lithium use at these doses include hypothyroidism, weight gain and kidney failure. Continue reading

Activist Post

The citizens of the United Kingdom are possibly the most surveilled group of people in the history of the world. Forget the NSA’s ever-expanding reach over every form of communication imaginable. We’re talking cameras… everywhere. The City of London is equipped with thousands of them, so is Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and, well, like I said before, pretty much everywhere. In a nation of 64 million residents, there is one CCTV camera for every 11 people in the UK.

RT logoRobert Bridge has worked as a journalist in Russia since 1998. Formerly the editor-in-chief of The Moscow News, Bridge is the author of the book, “Midnight in the American Empire.”

Fox News, the American news channel that has a curious way of treating dissenting guests like detainees in the war on terror, has been ranked the most trusted network in the US, according to a new poll by Quinnipiac University.

The Murdoch-owned ‘scream machine’ has won over the hearts and minds of 29 percent of America’s news audience, with CNN pulling into a second place with 22 percent, followed by CBS News and NBC News (10 percent), ABC News (8 percent) and MSNBC (7 percent).

Although Fox News has denied in the past that it panders to the views of any particular political philosophy, 58 percent of Republicans said they pledge allegiance to the channel, a statistic that questions its claim of political neutrality.
