Washington is making Ukraine stall on a gas settlement agreement with Russia to try and draw out the conflict, journalist and broadcaster Neil Clark told RT. Moscow offered Ukraine a 25 percent discount on gas, but Kiev insists this is not enough.

RT: We heard just a few moments ago from President Putin, sending out a warning to Kiev. Do you think they are likely to listen?

Neil Clark: I’m not sure they will do actually. I think he’s absolutely right to send this warning out, but of course this is already being portrayed in the West as Russia trying to make threats and it’s quite remarkable, isn’t it? Ukraine has been offered a very generous discount on this and yet they still want more and it really is quite incredible the nerve and the Chutzpah of the Ukrainian government on this.

Jon Rappoport – Is This Why No One Found WMDS In Iraq? – 12 June 2014

jon7Yes, prior to Gulf War 2, all sorts of people were lying about WMDs in Iraq. There was the whole business about the yellowcake and Niger, and Colin Powell speaking before the UN.

There was a WMD depot in Iraq that wasn’t a depot.

There were people who said they had secret evidence Saddam shipped weapons out of the country. And maybe they did have evidence.

But this is a different story. It involves the prospect of inspectors finding very serious weapons and then saying, “Wait! The weapons’ containers have American labels on them!” Continue reading

WakingTimes – April McCarthy – Organic Label Fraud – Pesticides Found On 45 Percent Of Organic Produce & 77 Percent Of Organic Grapes Test Positive – 12 June 2014

waking_times_logo_6-5-12_1The most common recommendation made by health experts in the area of produce selection is to choose “organic” varieties for maximum health benefits. We trust organic label certifications because they are supposed to comply with organic standards set by national governments and international organizations. Synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers are not allowed in organic practices, but that’s not always the case. Research by a Food Inspection Agency in Canada has found that nearly half the organic fresh fruits and vegetables tested in the past two years contained pesticide residue, violating maximum allowable limits for the presence of pesticides, the data shows.
