‘End Of Austerity’? Greece Claims Bailout Battle Victory, Warns Hard Time Not Over – 21 February 2015

RT logoThe Greek prime minister says a new agreement to extend the country’s bailout voids the previous administration’s austerity commitments. The politician said, “we won the battle, but not the war,” but believes further difficulties lie ahead.

Alexis Tsipras made the comments in a televised statement on Saturday. He spoke of the “important success” of Greece being able to negotiate a funding agreement with eurozone ministers, which will see the bailout extended by four months.

The PM hailed this as, “the end of austerity and the bailout,” as Athens was able to severe ties with the ‘hated’ Troika group, which was responsible for making sure the country stuck to its bailout conditions and repay its international creditors.

ZeroHedge – The “War On Terror” Turns Inward – DHS Report Warns Of Right Wing Terror Threat – 21 February 2015

ZeroHedgeSubmitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

What you are about to read from CNN is just the very beginning of the intentional demonization of a growing segment of the U.S. population that rightly believes the government is run by a collective of thieving, corrupt, immoral sociopaths. This isn’t speculation either, years of content on this site serves as definitive proof that this is true. Commingling dissent, violence and “right wing” ideology will be key in the ultimate division of government critics in these United States, and a successful attempt to scare people away from questioning a clearly degraded and parasitic status quo.

Download video (13.8 MB)RT logo

An Oakland artist is ingeniously battling homelessness in Oakland, California: he builds small houses out of materials he can find in the streets, with each edifice costing around forty bucks.

The tiny homes are made of pallets, bed boards, washing machine doors, and other bizarre objects that catch Greg Kloehn’s attention. Mr Kloehn first noticed that homeless people built shelters from whatever they find in the street, and he wanted to make a house like this.

He jokes that he constructs “illegal homes out of illegal garbage.” The cost of one house is “$30 to $40,” Kloehn told RT.

Bosses Allowed To Read Workers’ Texts, Top French Court Rules – 21 February 2015

RT logoEmployers in France now have a legal right to keep close tabs on their employees. The country’s Supreme Court has officially allowed top brass to read their subordinates’ SMS messages sent from work phones.

According to the judgment, text messages sent or received through a work phone “are assumed to be of a professional nature,” in other words work-related. Only the warning “personal” at the beginning of the message will stop your boss from reading the message about your private life, which, for some reason, was sent to your work phone.

All work-related messages can meanwhile be viewed and even taken to court “for legitimate reasons,” especially if they contain insults, allegations of suspected fraud or breach of confidentiality.

RT:Jen Psaki has once again accused Russia of stirring up trouble in Ukraine. What is the US dissatisfied with now?

Daniel McAdams: Well it’s funny, Jen Psaki starting to sound like the ‘Baghdad Bob’ of the US government. She is somehow blaming the Russians for all the shelling that took place in east Ukraine, when anyone with a brain knows that it was the government in Kiev that was shelling these places.

The US is a few “accidental” airstrikes away from total war with Syria. The US is reportedly working with Turkey to provide militants inside of Syria with radios to call in US airstrikes to help in their “fight against ISIS.”

Despite the obvious reality that these militants are in fact fighting alongside ISIS and are primarily fighting the Syrian Arab Army, and that such airstrikes are inevitably going to be called in on Syrian, not ISIS targets, the US is nonetheless attempting to assure the world this is not the case.
