Syria Handed Over 100% Of Declared Chem Weapons Stockpile – Watchdog – 23 June 2014

RT logoThe last of Syria’s declared chemical weapons have been handed over. “All declared chemical weapons have left Syria,” OPCW Director General Ahmet Üzümcü told reporters at a press conference Monday.

“The last of the remaining chemicals identified for removal from Syria were loaded this afternoon aboard the Danish ship Ark Futura. The ship made its last call at the port of Latakia in what has been a long and patient campaign in support of this international endeavor,” Üzümcü announced.

The destruction of the most hazardous substances will take place in Mediterranean international waters, on the American ship ‘Cape Ray.’

Time-Traveling Photons Connect General Relativity To Quantum Mechanics – 23 June 2014

RT logoScientists have simulated time travel by using particles of light acting as quantum particles sent away and then brought back to their original space-time location. This is a huge step toward marrying two of the most irreconcilable theories in physics.

Since traveling all the way to a black hole to see if an object you’re holding would bend, break or put itself back together in inexplicable ways is a bit of a trek, scientists have decided to find a point of convergence between general relativity and quantum mechanics in lab conditions, and they achieved success.

Australian researchers from the UQ’s School of Mathematics and Physics wanted to plug the holes in the discrepancies that exist between two of our most commonly accepted physics theories, which is no easy task: on the one hand, you have Einstein’s theory of general relativity, which predicts the behavior of massive objects like planets and galaxies; but on the other, you have something whose laws completely clash with Einstein’s – and that is the theory of quantum mechanics, which describes our world at the molecular level. And this is where things get interesting: we still have no concrete idea of all the principles of movement and interaction that underpin this theory.

NaturalNews – Ethan A. Huff – 85% Of Measles Outbreak Victims Already Received Vaccinations – 23 June 2014

NaturalNewss Logo-April-2014(NaturalNews) The mainstream media is giddily engaging in a mass political orgy over measles after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that the disease is allegedly spreading in large part due to foreign travelers and the unvaccinated. But a recent slip by KYW Newsradio 1060 in Philadelphia revealed that 85 percent of reported measles cases are, in fact, occurring in people who already received their vaccinations.

Catherine J. Frompovich from Activist Post says she heard the statistic blurted out during a recent KYW 1060 broadcast, only to find no further trace of it on the news website or on any subsequent broadcasts. But the statement, as she recalls it, went something along the lines of this: Continue reading

Norway Wants To Criminalize Begging – 23 June 2014

RT logoNorway, one of the richest countries in the world, plans to introduce a ban on begging. More than 60 percent of the population say it should be considered a crime. Beggars would face fines and up to 3 months in prison.

If adopted, the new law will allow local municipalities to introduce an immediate ban on begging and will take effect nationally by summer 2015, the Financial Times (FT) reports.

The idea follows a poll showing that two-thirds of Norwegians equate begging to a crime as the majority of beggars are not Norwegians. According to a government-commissioned report from the Nova research institute there are up to 1,000 foreign beggars among the country’s 5 million population.

John Ward – A Prime Minister’s Life: PMQs, Corporatist Pressure, And Tilting At Europe – 23 June 2014

JohnWIf you want to reacquaint yourself with just how unspeakably stupid and pompously out of touch MPs are, you could do a lot worse than tune into yesterday’s Observer article by Tory MP Amber Rudd about how PMQs is central to our democracy ha-ha.

Ms Rudd insists that ‘It is essential that the House of Commons allows backbenchers and opposition spokesmen and women to really probe government ministers’. I agree with her 100%, but what TF makes her think that PMQs is in any way whatsoever the medium for so doing? Only one question there in the last two years – asked by Tom Watson about paedophile rings leading back to a Thatcher Cabinet – has caused even the slightest discomfiture to the Executive. That isn’t much of a hit-rate. Continue reading

Jon Rappoport – Beyond All Structures – 23 June 2014

jon7We are fascinated with structures and systems because they work, and because some of us feel an aesthetic attraction to them.

They work until you want to do something different.

Many people want to grab a structure and pull it around them and sit there like a bird in a cage. They want to go from A to B to C and feel the satisfaction of knowing it works every time.

Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong at all. Continue reading
