This time of year with all of its wonderful power days is my favorite. Not only because I am a Leo but because I truly see the continual and constant worth of these energy alignments. We are all part of the sacred path and sacred days. As of late two powerful energies have made themselves known many many times a day. White buffalo calf woman and cougarwoman, both sacred and holy feminine energies in their own right. Each asks you to step beyond fear into the unknown and magical aspects of your self. We each seek entrance into the next level of our being, the energies of August 2014 will lead you to another level of personal and planetary initiation. Time to beef up our light put on our big girl panties and step up the plate.

Rabbits would, by most, be thought of as extremely vulnerable “victims” out in the wild, at the mercy of many dangers and predators. Yet, rabbits hold an important message of groundedness and humility, teaching us to listen to our instincts, to be quick-thinking, and move through our fears. They show us that we do not have to be, or remain, “victims” of life and circumstance. We can maneuver through the changing currents of life by becoming more in tune with our intuition, trusting more in what we can feel and not quite yet see, supporting those feelings, and doing it all more easily and rapidly with practice so that it becomes second-nature to feel and react in harmony with those feelings. David Cameron has called for an end to the slaughter in Gaza, a useful contribution to the debate marred only by the lack of any ideas about how to achieve this end. He has not as yet called for an end to fracking, but a new development yesterday stunned most people: the Daily Telegraph gave prominence to an article by Tim Morgan, who called it ‘the dotcom bubble of our time’, trotting out the exact same arguments this and millions of other sensible sites across the globe have been on about for years: the threat of water supply compromise, the rapidly diminishing returns, and so forth. Sadly, Mr Morgan’s starting assumption (that Cameron has gone fracking mad because he believes in it) is flawed: for Dave, it’s another Bright idea (like the HST to Manchester rationale) that came out of one of his brainstorming sessions) designed to generate pointless gdp and make the UK economy look as if it’s moving forward.

Palestine Pushing For Hague Court Probe Into Israeli ‘War Crimes’ In Gaza – 5 August 2014

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad al-Malki has said that Israel must be prosecuted at The Hague court for war crimes it committed during the offensive in Gaza, and that Palestinian authorities are planning to join the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“We must do everything in our power to enable the ICC to bring to justice those responsible for war crimes,” Malki said on Tuesday after meetings with the court’s prosecutors, Reuters cited.

The minister’s visit to The Hague-based court comes soon after the beginning of an Egypt-mediated truce between Israel and the Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning. The 72-hour ceasefire was agreed amid mounting global pressure to end the bloody conflict.
