The US Senate is planning to vote at the end of the week on the controversial Keystone XL pipeline, which would transport crude oil from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico, House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy told The Wall Street Journal on Monday.

The blast in the town of Granada caused a massive blaze, which firefighters responded to. Rescue teams say they have been unable to approach the site close enough to find out if anyone else has been hurt.

It is believed that about 10 tons of fireworks were kept at the facility.

The warehouse was a part of a local family business: they have been organizing fireworks displays all over the country and abroad for the past 18 years.

The cause of the incident remains unknown.

Laura Bruno – Comment Bump Up And Response – 6 January 2015

laura-of-the-rocksThis came in via email but deserves an anonymous bump up. It always interests me how Ken’s posts throw people. It’s really OK to think outside the East/West, good/bad, victim/savior paradigm. 🙂

Dear Laura–

I often see your posts on blogs I visit such as Lucas’s blog. I note you are posting articles by “Ken” of Ken’s blog. My disinfo alarms start clanging every time I start to read one of his posts. I find it impossible to finish reading through them. His gambit seems to be to muddy the waters around groups working hard to make the world a better place such as Gordon Duff’s VT team and the BRICS alliance. Does Ken even have a last name? Here are a few points about Gordon Duff and BRICS to consider… Continue reading
