It’s time to start taking these video reports seriously. This video shows a low pressure system being destroyed on April 25, 2015. This system, like so many before it, probably would have brought heavy rains to California, but now we’ll never know. This is more evidence of California’s drought being manufactured and that it’s having a cascading effect on the rest of North America’s weather.

Chinese researchers are claiming the world’s first genetic modification to enhance a human embryo.

Via Science Daily,

Chinese scientists say they’ve genetically modified human embryos for the very first time. The team attempted to modify the gene responsible for beta-thalassaemia, a potentially fatal blood disorder, using a gene-editing technique known as CRISPR/Cas9. Gene editing is a recently developed type of genetic engineering in which DNA is inserted, replaced, or removed.

On April 7th, Betty McCray was elected mayor of the town of Kinloch, just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. However, after she was sworn in earlier this week, she headed toward city hall to start her term, when she was stopped by nearly two dozen police officers in front of the building (I should add that there are over 50 members of the police department for this town of 300 residents). They claimed that she had been suspended and served impeachment papers for voter fraud.
