Prayer

I will be very happy to go within my being and see what surfaces regarding the lovely subject called prayer.

However, before I do that I’d like to express how that on the one hand it may be expedient from a human view point to inquire to a trusted other as to how they feel about certain spiritual practices.  But on the other hand I couldn’t emphasize strongly enough how extremely important it is—in the final analysis— that each individual bring to their own heart all their deep spirit questionings and ask there, trusting explicitly that the pure truth will always be thus found.   (Later we will explore how that Truth really could never actually be lost to any).

I shall joyfully rehearse to Our heart’s content the beauty I saw as I viewed this film for the very first time last evening. Its metaphorical content powerfully gripped me from the beginning all the way to its joyous end.
Certainly the Corporation that headed up this unique experiment was in a sense playing the I AM Play-Creator role where Truman was simply a controlled and animated-like character who’s every move was not merely monitored but carefully dictated to the finest degree. And of course, the Truman movie was sort of an attempt by so-called “human” consciousness to portray its limited notion of a supposed meaning to what’s actually happening upon the Big Stage-Planet Earth, and therefore must fall infinitely short of authentic accuracy as to the true meaning and significance of the Earth Play Divine. All is remarkably executed in precise accordance with the Script Divine! How Fun!

Contrary to often well-disguised appearances, the ego of the Play Divine
never honors the Mirror (role-finished I AM Entities who constitute the True Universal Self of all upon the Play Stage of Theatre Earth). The ego must always be “right” in its own minds eye so long as it survives. And contrary to its occasional boast of humility, such invariably sees itself as other than, different from, and superior to all things and beings inclusive of the Natural Divine Energies that surround it in many forms.

Its like the Present— indeed it IS the Present and therefore can never ever go away from anyone. As long as each choose to stay around the open window is always staying around too. Its like our Heart— we can never get away from our Heart.

Q.  What greater work is there than to heal the sick, teach the ignorant, and raise the dead?    Are not such deeds solely performed as acts of resistance to apparent adverse or evil appearances?  But what can be greater and more noble than this?

With what will are you acquainted?  Have you a personal will that is gaining pleasure from rehearsing your troubles, disasters, ailments?  Do you enjoy poor health?  Do you like to recount your problems to any and all who will listen?  Do you feel sorry for yourself?  Do you feel you are abused by circumstance; your body; by neighbors, friends, society?  Do you assume you were born at the wrong time, of the wrong parents on the “wrong side of the tracks” and therefore are entitled to grunt and complain?  Do you claim you are shouldered with responsibilities that are unfair, unjust, not of your own making?  Did the family tree sell you short on health, looks, supply, and a name that spells power in the world in which you browse?  Were you opportunities curtailed, so education and the chances of a remunerative job passed you by?
