Is EU worth a vote or is it even a voting matter?

My view on so-called European integration and what I know and have learned about the push and development of the institute now called EU is not a nice one.  Most people have been taught in media, schools and university the so-called good for peace in Europe integration story and after that the story became a working together in all sorts of areas to have all together a better free competive prosperous Europe… Continue reading

Russia, EU, Ukraine Fail To Reach Agreement At Gas Talks – 2 May 2014

RT logoDownload video (22.47 MB)

US and EU diplomats have said they will help Ukraine cut back on Russian gas, and also promised to help diversify the Russian-dominated European energy market, a difficult long term task for energy-dependent EU countries.

Ukraine is the main transit route for Europe-bound Russian gas exports – about a third of Europe’s gas passes through the country – and is therefore crucial to energy stability.

EU, US Impose Sanctions Against Russian Officials After Crimea Referendum – 17 March 2014

RT logoUS President Barack Obama has ordered that sanctions be applied against 11 Russian and Ukrainian officials, the White House said. Earlier, the EU imposed sanctions against 21 officials after Crimea declared its independence.

Obama’s executive order applies to seven top Russian officials, including presidential aide Vladislav Surkov, presidential adviser Sergey Glazyev, State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky, member of the upper chamber of the Russian parliament (the Federation Council) Andrey Klishas, head of the upper chamber of the Russian parliament Valentina Matvienko, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and State Duma deputy Yelena Mizulina.

laura-of-the-rocksIn the interests of peeling back illusions, this article seemed of value to post as it shows yet another instance in which the US media and international “leaders” back a revolution that attempts to topple the inconvenient existence of a sovereign state. We’ve seen it in Syria, where the US backs and even arms Al-Qaeda rebels; it has happened too many times to count in Central America; and ideologies so obviously fly out the window that it becomes instructive to look at such things. The most telling paragraph of the article below, imho: Continue reading
