VaticanNews – Holy See: Businesses Must Recognize Human Rights – 13 June 2014

(Vatican Radio) The Holy See has welcomed a document produced during the 26th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva by the Working Group on the issue of human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises.   

Archbishop Silvano M. Tomasi, the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United in Geneva said the unanimous endorsement of the  Guiding Principles on business and human rights  – “Protect, Respect and Remedy” –  “signaled a strong global political commitment”.
