Earlier we touched on the Divine Plan for life. (1) We said at that time that, viewed from the standpoint of the Divine, the purpose of life is that God should meet God in a moment of enlightenment. Viewed from our standpoint as the created life forms who realize God, the purpose of life is enlightenment.
If we accept this as the case, then it follows that life could also be said to have a process, a way of unfolding so as to realize that purpose. And that process can be epitomized as spiritual evolution. Continue reading
