Waking Times – Colin Bondi – True Prosperity : Becoming An Employee Of The Universe – 15 November 2012

I love the word prosperity. Prosperity represents a fulfilling life encompassing not only material wealth but happiness and genuine fulfillment. I think of it as a state where abundance is free to flow uninhibited through all areas of one’s life. I think you could say most people long to live in such a state but few people actually do. What is it that obstructs living in a sustained state of true prosperity? True prosperity being grounded in abundance and growth oriented experiences. True prosperity is not achieved by cheating people, doing work that makes you miserable or defining prosperity solely by material wealth. There are plenty of wealthy people who are miserable and I would not call them prosperous because key parts of their lives are unfulfilled if not a source of serious pain. Continue reading

Waking Times – Anthony Gucciardi – Washington County Bans Growing Of GMOs – 13 November 2012

While some anti-GMO legislation like Prop 37 was shot down through corporation-funded projects and deceptive campaign tactics, one county in Washington state was massively successful in establishing a landmark ruling against Monsanto and GMO crops as a whole. The concerned citizens of San Juan County were able to pass what is known as Initiative Measure No. 2012-4, which actually bans the growth of genetically modified organisms within the county. Waking Times – Nicola Tesla – An Inspiritional Genius – 4 November 2012

When I went to school, who was portrayed as the greatest genius of all time? Einstein. Who was the greatest inventor? Thomas Edison. Waking Times – Fear Itself, Part II – The Power Of NO – 26 October 2012

Dan and Sheila Gendron, Contributing Writers
Waking TimesPlease visit Part 1 of this important essay, here. Some people in the scientific community speak of “genetic memory”, also known as racial memory. This is the way in which a person’s DNA can be permanently altered by external, psychological forces. This change – and its emotional effect – is then carried forward to the next generations. There are genetic fears implanted deeply within us by which we are manipulated on a daily basis. It is also possible to be free of these fears and loosen the controls under which you live. Waking Times – Pao L. Chang – The Healing Power Of Energy Devices: Is There Such A Thing As Incurable Disease? – 18 October 2012

To understand if incurable diseases exist, we need to understand what a disease is and its main causes. The excerpt below does a good job explaining what a disease is. It is extracted from wikipedia.org.

A disease is an abnormal condition affecting the body of an organism. It is often construed to be a medical condition associated with specific symptoms and signs.[1] It may be caused by external factors, such as infectious disease, or it may be caused by internal dysfunctions, such as autoimmune diseases. In humans, “disease” is often used more broadly to refer to any condition that causes pain, dysfunction, distress, social problems, or death to the person afflicted, or similar problems for those in contact with the person. Gravitational water vortex electricity plants are a new solution in renewable energy production, and the concept is starting to gain more attention worldwide as a sustainable and environment friendly technology. The first such plant was built in Switzerland in 2009 and was named after innovation pioneer Dr. Bertrand Piccard, inventor of the solar-power airplane and the first man to fly around the world in a hot-air balloon. The gravitational water vortex technology is an example that progress is possible using clean, reliable and renewable forms of energy. Continue reading

Waking Times – How To Cultivate Unconditional Love And Forgiveness – 14 October 2012

Barbara-Lynn Freed, Contributing Writer
Waking TimesWe are all familiar with Personal Love as a deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection we have toward people, pets, or treasured items in our lives. Often used as a term of endearment, we usually see personal love as an intense, emotional attachment or attraction to those we care about. With personal love we can lapse into our lower emotions and hold grudges against others, or concentrate on suffering. In doing so we hinder the effectiveness of our love in relationships, as well as, our own wellbeing. Continue reading
