Wes Annac – The Silent, Peaceful Sage – 28 April 2015

wesannac2By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

I define a “sage” as someone who uses their awareness, which they find in stillness and contemplation, to subtly and quietly create positive change. The sage embodies material transcendence and expresses him or herself through love and peace, and everything flows to this quiet, still embodiment of divine perfection.

The sage who’s successfully opened their mind and allowed their heart-centered wisdom to pour through gains a greater understanding of the nature of reality, and in my opinion, we don’t have to accomplish anything to become a sage. Continue reading

Wes Annac – The Struggle To Be Healthy – 27 April 2015

wesannac2By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

I’ve written a lot about eating healthy, but I’ll admit that I struggle with it. The funny thing about it is that it really doesn’t have to be a struggle, and all it takes is the willingness to refuse foods we know are fake or filled with so many chemicals that they can hardly be considered food.

For most people who want to eat healthy, the struggle lies in the fact that they’ve been conditioned to eat unhealthy food since childhood.

It isn’t necessarily the sole fault of their parents, who were also conditioned in their own ways, but either way, we need to break the cycle and feed ourselves things that actually sustain our bodies instead of gradually forming disease. Continue reading

Wes Annac – Farmers Of The Philippines Say ‘No Way’ to GMO Rice – 26 April 2015

wesannac2By Christina Sarich, Natural Society, April 25, 2015

We all know that biotech likes to spew lies about their products like a fire hydrant left on to overflow into the street. Well talk about genetically modified Golden Rice is no different. Fortunately, farmers from the Philippines are rejecting this environmentally irresponsible crop because, “they have plenty of other solutions for Vitamin A deficiency.”

Wes Annac – No More Resistance, No More Censorship – 25 April 2015

wesannac2By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

I’m reaching a point in life where I no longer want to hold back. I no longer want to play small or watch from the background as other people fulfill their passions, and I want to contribute as continuously and wholeheartedly as everyone else who’s using their creativity and spirituality to uplift the world.

I no longer want to keep myself from saying certain things just because I feel like it isn’t my place or it’ll offend someone.

I want to express exactly what I feel in any given moment, and the struggle to figure out exactly how I want to contribute to this revolution diminishes when I realize that the tools I need to seriously express myself have been in front of me the whole time.

Wes Annac – Achievement Or Understanding? The Choice Is Ours – 23 April 2015

wesannac2By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

It’s safe to say that most people on the spiritual path would love to be free of attachment, which tends to hinder our growth and evolution. Attachment to achievement or material things is yet another manifestation of the nearly constant effort to fill the inner void, which, as we’re learning, we don’t want to fill at all.

Instead of filling it, the best thing we can do is sit with it, observe it and come to the realization that it’s our gateway to spirit.

The void we try so desperately to fill is actually our means of connecting with the divine; our inner Christ consciousness. Unfortunately, a lot of people – even spiritual seekers – try so hard to fill it that they forget that it’s where their Christed Self lives in the first place. Continue reading

Wes Annac – The Ancient Giants Of The New World – 18 April 2015

From Earth We Are One, April 17, 2015

According to Paiute Indian oral legends, a tribe called the Si-Te-Cah were a native American race of tall red-haired giants that once occupied the area in the distant past.

Amazingly, 9,400 year old Mummified remains were indeed found in a cave in Nevada, though scientific study is NOT allowed on the remains for political reasons.

Sarah Winnemucca Hopkins, a prominent female Native American activist, educator, and daughter of Paiute Chief Winnemucca, related many stories passed down in her tribe, first hand, about the Si-Te-Cah in her book Life Among the Paiutes, published in 1883.

Wes Annac – The Ultimate Treasure – 17 April 2015

wesannac2By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

Franklin Merrell-Wolff, who we’ll hear from here, frequently referred to enlightenment as a “treasure”.

Like a lot of spiritual teachers have told us, enlightenment is as much of a destructive process as it is constructive, but at the “end” of it all, we’ll come out shining, divine beings who are fully aware of our divinity and are able to use our newfound, elevated awareness to address society’s biggest problems.

We’re becoming aware of our Godliness and the things we can achieve once we tap into it, but for the most part, none of us have really found enlightenment. Continue reading

Wes Annac – Awaken, Spiritual Revolutionaries – 16 April 2015

wesannac2By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

With every day that goes by, more people are awakening to the injustice being perpetrated at the top of the social/economic hierarchy, and as we awaken, we assemble to figure out how we can make a change.

We’re also becoming aware of the spiritual nature of our existence and the fact that we’re innately spiritual beings who have yet to truly discover our Godliness.

We’re searching for answers to the questions that burn deep within, which are now coming to the surface, and we’re encouraging the rest of the world to find the answers to their own deeply rooted questions. Continue reading

Wes Annac – Seeking The Magic – 15 April 2015

wesannac2By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

Inspired by an article from Shubhra on Wake Up World, entitled Those Who Don’t Believe in Magic Will Never Find It

We’re all looking for some color in our life; some magic; something that’ll reassure us that the things we’ve learned about life and spirituality are genuine. Some of us probably don’t need reassurance about our beliefs, because we’ve long accepted that our discoveries are real.

Regardless, we’re all looking for something to expand our spirituality and help us see that we really do live in an infinite universe that’s composed of pure, blissful vibrations, which we can tap into with focused, disciplined effort. Continue reading

Wes Annac – Krishnamurti: Sensation Is Always Seeking Further Sensation – 12 April 2015

wesannac2“Sensation is always seeking further sensation, ever in wider and wider circles. There is no end to the pleasures of sensation; they multiply, but there is always dissatisfaction in their fulfilment; there is always the desire for more, and the demand for more is without end.” – Krishnamurti
