3D-Printed Guns Avoid Congressional Ban – 16 December 2013

This week, Congress voted to renew a ban on plastic firearms. It’s called the Undetectable Firearms Act and it makes it illegal to manufacture, possess, or receive any firearm that would evade a metal detector or X-ray machine. But with the advent of 3D printing and the ability for individuals to now craft a gun in the comfort of their own home, RT’s Ameera David takes a look at how this developing technology may be a little too quick for policy to catch up.
