It is a thorough process that has been activated and followed through with, and as the pieces of the puzzle have been brought forward there has been much that has made sense to the ones in place for the distribution. It is part of what has been behind the delays and yet could not be spoken of because of the need for security.

Feds Say Record Number Of Children Victimized By Massive Online Porn Ring – 18 March 2014

Federal prosecutors in the United States have charged 14 individuals with involvement in an online child pornography ring where thousands of explicit images and videos of minors as young as three were shared over the web.

Officials announced the charges on Tuesday and said they were the results of “Operation Round Table,” a joint collaboration between the US Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the US Postal Service and the office of the US attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

A 27-year-old Louisiana man, Jonathan Johnson, has been charged with operating a child exploitation enterprise, according to a press release issued by the agencies involved on Tuesday. Johnson and ten others were arrested and charged in the Eastern District of Louisiana as the primary operators, contributors and producers of material for the enterprise, while three others have been apprehended elsewhere in the US and charged locally.

US Shuts Down Syrian Embassy, Tells Diplomats To Leave – 18 March 2014

Washington has closed the Syrian embassy and two of its consulates, and has told all Syrian diplomats that they must leave the country, after Damascus decided to call back its mission last week.

“Following the announcement that the Syrian Embassy has suspended its provision of consular services, and in consideration of the atrocities the Assad regime has committed against the Syrian people, we have determined it is unacceptable for individuals appointed by that regime to conduct diplomatic or consular operations in the United States,” said a note from the State Department’s special envoy for Syria, Daniel Rubinstein.

As well as its mission in the US capital, Syria also operated two consulates in Troy (Michigan) and Houston.

Ron Paul On Crimea: None Of America’s Business – 18 March 2014

Ron Paul is once again speaking up about the situation in Crimea, and this time the former congressman is condemning critics from his own country who are seemingly obsessed with the recent secession.

The former Republican representative for Texas told RT earlier this month that he didn’t think the United States had any business meddling in overseas affairs and that worsening tensions in Ukraine should be resolved only by those directly involved. The citizens of Crimea have since approved a referendum to separate from Ukraine, but both the US and European Union responded with sanctions against certain officials from Russia and the former Ukrainian government as a result.

In an op-ed published by USA Today on Monday, Paul asked: “What’s the big deal?”

Gazprom Proposes To Develop Crimea’s Oil And Gas – 18 March 2014

Gazprom has requested permission from the Crimean authorities to develop oil and gas fields, Crimea’s first Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Temirgaliev said Tuesday.

“Of course, Gazprom was the first to approach us with a proposal,” RIA news quotes Temirgaliev.

The Crimea is one of the largest regions in the Black Sea in terms of production of oil and gas. “It extracts now about 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas a year” Temirgaliev remarked. In 2013 production increased by 40 percent due to the opening up of the Odessa and Stormovoe fields on a shelf of the Black Sea.

French FM Fabius: Russia’s Participation In G8 Meetings Suspended – 18 March 2014

Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius has said the Group of Eight suspended Russia’s participation in their meetings. However, President Putin is still invited to visit France on June 6.

“At the moment, he is still invited. As for the G8 as a political formation for the dialogue of all big states together, we have decided to suspend the participation of Russia, there will be seven countries that gather [for the summit] – without Russia,” Fabius told Europe 1 radio.

France plans to hold a grand celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Allied Forces landing in Normandy.
