VaticanNews – The Holy See At The United Nations: Solidarity To Eradicate Poverty – 4 November 2014

Vatican City, 4 November 2014 (VIS) – Archbishop Bernardito Auza, Holy See Permanent Observer at the United Nations in New York, spoke at the 69th Session of the General Assembly held on 23 October, regarding the “Eradication of Poverty”.

Speaking in English, the nuncio expressed the Holy See delegation’s belief that “countries should develop evidence-based policies and strategies to combat extreme poverty, rather than relying on pre-conceived one-size-fits-all solutions. Analyses and suggested solutions need to be based on on-the-ground expertise and lived experience, rather than on imposed ready-made solutions from the outside, which are not always devoid of ideological colourings”.

He also remarked that sustainable development “requires the participation of all in the life of families, communities, organisations and societies. Participation is the antidote to exclusion, be it social, political, economic or cultural”. Another barrier to sustainable development, he noted, is “the exclusion of women from equal and active participation in the development of their communities. Excluding women and girls from education and subjecting them to violence and discrimination violates their inherent dignity and fundamental human rights”.

“My delegation wishes to highlight that poverty is not mere exclusion from economic development; it is as multifaceted and multidimensional as the human person. … Other than its more obvious economic expression, poverty also manifests itself in the educational, social, political, cultural and spiritual dimensions of life. … Development is more than the sum total of resources invested into development projects and their measurable material results. … In our efforts to eradicate poverty, we must always return to the foundational principle of our efforts, namely to promote the authentic development of the whole person and of all peoples. Each of us needs to contribute. Each of us can benefit. This is solidarity”.

Jon Rappoport – The invention of “virus reality” – 4 November 2014

jon7“Gods and viruses and other invisible movers and shakers; these are the preferred building blocks of the reality-makers. They say, ‘This is what you can’t see. We’ll describe it for you.’” (Notes for The Matrix Revealed, Jon Rappoport)

Reader, we’re moving into deep waters now. This isn’t just about Ebola. This is about the whole structure of false medical reality.

And that reality begins with the arrogant assurance that what’s killing very large numbers of people can be traced to a virus.

The “experts” present a unified front. They assert that their tests for these viruses are correct, pure, and extremely useful. Continue reading

And it came to pass that there was one carrier of the flames that came to mean something that represented his own interpretation. And it was good; and it was of itself a message carrier to those who sought the message that it represented. And it was gold and it was unblemished and its life was designed for a purpose born in antiquity and destined for its inevitable passing into history. And it bore a message to those who came in search of the truth. And it was good; and it was called The Menorah.

Follow this story of Ellen, Mike, and Tony who in modern day set out from the deserts of New Mexico in search of this Menorah decorated with Mayan carvings. Will they find it before the others who search for the Menorah, for their own questionable reasons?

Iraq Inquiry To Cost Taxpayer £10Mn – 4 November 2014

RT logoThe Inquiry into the invasion of Iraq in 2003 will cost the taxpayer £10mn, peers have been informed. Ongoing since 2009, the Chilcot Inquiry has already cost £9mn and has faced mounting criticism for its late publication.

In response to questions in the House of Lords, Lord Wallace of Saltaire compared the figure to the £100mn spend on the 1998 Saville Inquiry into the Bloody Sunday shootings in Northern Ireland.

Lord Saltaire, however, further said it would be “inappropriate” to publish the report in the run up to the May 2015 general election. If the Inquiry fails to publish by February, in keeping with the pre-poll deadline, publication will be postponed yet again.

John Ward – Economies, Markets & Commodities: Upside Down, Back To Front And Every Which Way Up – 4 November 2014

JohnWAs the EU slashes the eurozone growth forecast (but seems convinced Ireland can buck the trend) we see the price of oil falling further still, and Japanese QE driving markets higher, while the gold price continues to fall.

Everything is an illusion, nothing is real, and everything is connected.

Commoditiies like oil and gold shouldn’t plunge at the same time.

When the world is having every growth forecast slashed, markets should not be going higher and gold should not be falling in price.

Oil prices are falling at the rate they are to stuff Moscow, and reduce ISIS income.

Gold prices are being destroyed to discourage the flight of investment from stock markets and banks.

It’s a mug’s game if you do, and a mug’s game if you don’t.

Digital Evolution? UK Govt Launches Bitcoin & E-Currency Consultation – 4 November 2014

RT logoThe British government is formally examining the benefits and feasibility of using electronic currencies (e-currencies) such as Bitcoin, as thousands are turning their backs on traditional forms of finance.

It is estimated around 20,000 Brits currently own Bitcoin. According to the Treasury, around £60 million worth of the digital currency is circulating in the UK economy.

The actual figure is likely to be higher, as the e-currency is often used to buy contraband items in the “dark web” – an area of the internet inaccessible to UK authorities.

The Treasury consultation, called “Digital currencies: Call for information,” says it wants to determine how e-currencies are being used, and whether it should be regulated by the government in the future.
