Sophia Love – A Full Ride – 26 April 2015

These blue skies that seem to float above me are teeming with birds.  It is spring, and turf wars as well as unbridled enthusiasm fill the air.  It is a gorgeous day.

It’s been more than a month since there was a palpable shift in frequency and the changes are still coming fast and furious.

In a single week of March, four people in my family were hospitalized.  Since then, there have been several more accidents, illnesses and losses.  A lot of us are having a very hard time.  Things are not exactly the same; that much is clear.

And yet, well, they are. The backyard birds squabble over nest space, the children at school struggle to be noticed, while the tulips push their way through the rock hard ground in order to meet the sun.  Life moves on, it is up to us to keep up with its constant motion.

Letters from friends are giving me a picture of what is going on for us.  This is how it looks from here.

As we complete this conversation, keep a few things in your heart.  First, there is nothing wrong about your life or how you’ve chosen to be inside of it.  Regardless of what label you stick to what you do, you can’t help but love.  Loving is what you’ve been doing in each and every relationship.

There are things you have done or things that have been done to you that on the surface seem abhorrent and/or the opposite of love.  Yet, we have come to serve as comfort and/or contrast, help and/or hindrance for each other – there are no exceptions.

 So, how do you love under any circumstance?  Without opinion or expectation, disappointment or judgment?  What does love like that look like?

If your love is conditional, then by definition you require those conditions to be met for it to continue.  This is how conditions actually work.  This physical life is conditional.  It requires oxygen.  If you take away my oxygen, I no longer have it.  I die.

Sophia Love – Poised At The Edge Of Awareness – 7 April 2015

Welcome to April’s Love Quest.  What is present for me today is a realization that in a very real sense, this journey is fiction.   It’s been constructed now by me, with you, as a sort of meandering… We are not really going anywhere.  We Are.  Always and in all ways.

These words are maybe entertaining and perhaps thought provoking, yet not leading you anywhere you don’t already inhabit.  It’s only this forgetting that propels us to journey.  And now, with increasing velocity, we are approaching a remembering.

In four years of “Questing” I’ve learned something.  Agape is not a popular road.  It sounds good – unconditional love – yet does not often feel good.  To feel love under any condition puts the whole feeling in question.  For “love” at its essence is not the many things we have mistaken it for.  It is not loyalty, or duty, or passion, or marriage, or obedience, or ownership.  And agape is akin to the love of the creator – it stands without any condition.

Bairns Not Bombs: Hundreds Say No To Trident In Glasgow Rally – 5 April 2015

Over 2,500 protesters have hit the streets of Glasgow for a ‘Bairns not Bombs’ demonstration, calling for UK’s Trident nuclear weapons program to be scrapped.

The rally, one of the largest of its kind ever held in Glasgow, was organized by the Scrap Trident group and will be followed by a blockade of Faslane Naval Base where the submarines carrying the nuclear deterrent are docked on April 13. Bairns is a word only used in Scottish English to describe a small child.

Police estimated that some 2,500 people attended the rally, but organizers said the figure was higher and placed it closer to 4,000.

Scotland’s First Minister and head of the Scottish National Party (SNP), Nicola Sturgeon, told the crowd it was morally indefensible to waste £100 billion ($149 billion) on replacing the subs.

Sophia Love – Ask Me: How Do We Escape This Prison Planet? – 1 April 2015

“This has been called a “prison planet”.  How can we escape from the system, the slavery system, as it has been this way for many, many generations?”

An interesting question.  I believe it is not so much a question of escape but of mindset.  We have been engineered with a pre-disposition for worship.  If you consider the numerous ancient ruins discovered, many thousands of years old, that were clearly made by someone with advanced technologies, an obvious question is “who made them and why?”.  There are no clear answers.  Yet mankind still today holds reverence for these beings; beings that no one alive has ever seen, or ever heard about from another living human.  This tendency to obey and to work for praise or prize is not evident in every sentient race; yet it seems fundamental in humanity.

Sophia Love – After The Shift – Walking On New Ground – 31 March 2015

We’ve shifted and this alters the course of everything.  This may not be recognized today as pivotal, yet from this month on things have irrevocably changed.  If you’ve been waiting for the day, well, wait no longer.  This is not the only shift we’ll go through, but it was a substantial one.

Your experience of this will be one crafted by you alone.  When you chose to participate, it was with full knowledge of the shift upon us now.  The change that just occurred will reverberate out and when and how you feel it very much hinges on choices made by you thus far.
