Here is a short BIO:
While getting an art degree at the University of Texas Austin, Katy studied TransMedia, an experimental video art program focusing on converging mediums. Her very first shorts were screened at the Dallas Video Fest and SXSW. In 2003 she moved to Brooklyn to connect with other artists, studied music for several years and has since released four albums. Three of her most recent music videos in collaboration with Joel Mejia were official selections at the Red Hook International Film & Video Fest 2013, International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts (Shorts and Micro Cinema) 2013, and the Radar International Independent Film Fest, 2011. She has also provided artistic direction on many other video projects. Katy became interested in “new science” topics after reading a book by Jose Arguelles and has spent the last year researching the subject of synchronicity, consciousness and related fields.
